1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the public website at fornida.com(the “Site”), operated by Fornida, LLC (“Fornida,” “we,” “us”). It does not apply to information processed under a signed services agreement, which is governed by the Master Services Agreement and the applicable service terms.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
When you submit the contact or assessment form, we collect the details you enter — typically your name, business email address, phone number, company name, and the contents of your message. Providing this information is voluntary, but it is required to respond to an inquiry.
2.2 Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security, performance, and abuse prevention. We also use privacy-preserving, aggregate web analytics that do not rely on cookies and do not identify you individually.
2.3 Information collected by third parties
Certain areas of the Site embed third-party services that may collect information directly from your browser, including the hardware shop and checkout pages and embedded video. See Section 4.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, payment card data, or protected health information through this Site. Payment processing for hardware purchases is handled by the storefront and payment providers described in Section 4, not by this website.
3. How We Use Information
- To respond to inquiries and provide requested information or quotes.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.
- To comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use contact-form submissions for unrelated advertising.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Third-Party Services
The core marketing pages of this Site set no first-party tracking cookies. The technologies below may set cookies or store data in your browser depending on the pages you visit and the features you use:
4.1 Strictly necessary
- Bot protection — the contact form uses a third-party anti-abuse service that may store a short-lived token to validate that a submission is human. Used only on pages containing the form.
4.2 Analytics
- Privacy-preserving web analytics — we use an aggregate, anonymized traffic-measurement service. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
4.3 Functional
- Embedded video — articles and case studies include video from a third-party hosting provider. When a video loads or plays, that provider may set cookies and use local storage to measure playback and remember preferences.
- Google Maps Platform (Places) — supports address lookup on the contact form. Requests are made to Google when you use that field.
4.4 Hardware shop and checkout
The hardware shop, cart, checkout, and account pages are served through a third-party storefront provider. These pages load additional analytics and advertising technologies that set cookies, which may include Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, and other marketing, advertising, and email-engagement tools. These cookies are set by those providers under their own privacy practices when you visit the shopping and checkout pages.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may limit shop, checkout, or video functionality but will not prevent you from using the core marketing pages.
5. Service Providers and Sub-Processors
We rely on third-party service providers to operate the Site. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service and under its own terms and privacy policy. These include providers for:
- Website hosting and aggregate analytics.
- Delivery of contact-form emails to Fornida.
- Bot protection on forms.
- Content management for articles and case studies.
- The hardware storefront, cart, and checkout.
- Video hosting and playback.
- Google — Maps Platform address lookup, and analytics and advertising tags within the shop funnel.
6. How We Share Information
We share information only: (a) with the service providers above; (b) when required by law, regulation, subpoena, or other legal process; (c) to protect the rights, safety, or property of Fornida, our users, or the public; or (d) in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy. We do not sell personal information.
7. Data Retention
Contact-form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to the inquiry and maintain a record of the communication, then deleted or archived per our internal retention practices. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes.
8. Data Security
Fornida maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information handled, consistent with our SOC 2 and CMMC program commitments. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction — including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and similar U.S. state laws — you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
11. International Visitors
Fornida operates in the United States, and the Site is hosted and administered there. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
